Slice Paging

You can step through displayed slice(s) using the buttons in the "Paging" panel Panel to page through the slices in Jim. The buttons have the following actions:

Button to go the next slice increments the set of displayed slices by one slice.

Button to go the previous slice decrements the set of displayed slices by one slice.

Button to go the next page of slices increments the set of displayed slices by one one page-full of slices. For example, if four slices are displayed, then the next set of four slices is displayed.

Button to go the previous page of slices decrements the set of displayed slices by one one page-full of slices. For example, if four slices are displayed, then the previous set of four slices is displayed.

If any of these buttons is greyed-out, this means that the operation is not applicable to the display at this time.

You can also step through the slices using the following keyboard accelerators:

If you want to quickly display one particular slice, from the View menu select Goto Slice ... view_goto_slice

This brings up a dialog as shown below:

goto_slice_dialog

Enter the slice you want to display, and press the goto_slice_button button. You can also page through the slices using the "-" and "+" buttons.
