Region of Interest (ROI) Creation Using Dialogs
Certain types of ROI can be created using a dialog; you should do
this when you want to precisely set the shape and location of an
ROI.
The ROIs that can be created this way are the regularly-shaped
ROIs:
- Text
- Marker
- Line
- Rectangular
- Elliptical
To bring up a dialog, choose the type of ROI you want to create
from the Create menu of the ROI Toolkit Frame:
An example dialog for Rectangular ROIs is shown below.
Type in the properties of the ROI that you want to create. Tool
Tips are available to help guide you through correctly filling the
required details: hover the mouse over one of the fields to
see the tool tip. When you have set the properties of the ROI to be
created, click on the 
button to add the ROI to
the selected slice of the image.
