A List of the Stand-Alone Tools

The tools that are available as stand-alone programs, separate from Jim are shown below. Most stand-alone tools come in two versions: For example, image algebra can be performed in any of three ways: On Unix systems (including Mac OS X), scripts are provided run run the tools in either GUI or text-only (batch) mode. On MS Windows systems, you will need to create your own batch (.bat) files to run the tools in text-only mode. An example batch file is provided in the Win32 directory on installation, which contains details about how to create your own batch files.

To see the program usage for any of the text-only tools, run the tool without any arguments. This will show a usage message.
